How to Import Stock Opening Balance

    You can import an opening stock balance from an Excel Spreadsheet.

    Note: You will need the User Role Import Opening Balances.

    1. Fill in the Opening Balances Excel spreadsheet. Make sure the sheet is called OpeningBalances.

    1. From within the OPS Rental system select the Stock Management dataset search screen select the Function Import Opening Balance.

    1. Select the Excel file you have created in Step 1.
    2. A success message will be displayed. Click OK. When the new record opens, check the values are all as expected. Then select the Function Complete.

    1. Your Stock balances are now updated.
